SUMMARY:
The Organizational Change Management Lead is responsible for implementing and managing the change strategy and all aspects of change management for KGPCo’s delivery of digital transformation initiatives, specifically the company’s D365 ERP implementation. The candidate must work effectively across the project team that consists of internal, contract, and system integrator resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned:
- Develops and manages Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy for KGPCo and development of detailed plans to lead all technical change management activities.
- Responsible for business unit needs analysis and OCM priority setting.
- Provides leadership for external OCM resources in execution of change management strategy.
- Review and approval of deliverables for the change management process including stakeholder alignment, organizational impact assessments, training, communications, organization readiness and adoption.
- Review change impact of processes and systems by audience; develop, design, and execute OCM plans for each audience.
- Review assessment of organizational readiness; adapt OCM plans based on outcomes.
- Advise on and influence project timelines based on change management needs; provide change management tasks to be incorporated into overall project plans.
- Perform on-going assessments of change impact including project post-mortem.
- Review impact of change management programs and incorporate changes into core approach/methodology as appropriate.
- Guide team members in their understanding and translation of the impact of medium to complex process and their conversion to meaningful messages for stakeholders.
- Demonstrate cross functional collaboration by developing necessary partnerships to achieve strategy and outcomes.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the key teams, stakeholders, and others (vendors, partners, etc.) to ensure successful project implementation.
- Consolidate and report team progress on OCM efforts to upper management.
- Demonstrate change leadership within an environment of ambiguity.
- Collaborate with Training lead to oversee training development to ensure consistent and rational approach across all end-user audiences to ensure learning objectives are defined and met.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to ensure that change management work is tightly linked to all other key organizational initiatives underway and ensure conflicts are minimized.
- Engage key staff on project teams for timely resolution of all change management communication and training issues.
- Identify dependencies that change management and training has on deliverables from other work areas.
- Work with the implementation vendor’s Change Management Lead to develop a change management strategy.
- Work with representatives to develop a Communications Plan across all agencies to prepare for ERP implementation.
- Build a change management and Change Champions team to articulate change vision and strategy.
- Supports Change Network.
- Work with implementation vendor and team to assess change readiness, leadership alignment and organizational impact of ERP implementation.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and communications to obtain awareness, understanding, buy-in and support.
- Work closely with implementation vendor to determine training and resource materials needed for successful change management and user adoption.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related degree. Master’s degree and/or Project Management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of organizational change management experience in end-to-end, multi-year ERP implementations and/or major digital transformations.
- Experience with industry methods for project management and process improvement.
- Good understanding of IT concepts and terminology.
- Strong organizational skills, with proven experience prioritizing work and coordinating several projects at one time.
- Soft skills to include: proactive, future-thinking, strategic, accountable, collaborative, manages ambiguity, strong planning experience.
- Ability to effectively interface with technical (IT) groups as well as business teams, both in person and remotely.
- Provide executive-level consultation and thought leadership. Demonstrated skills in fact-based analysis, presentation, and interpersonal interaction.
- Superb written and oral communication that is excellent in the areas of timeliness, accuracy, professionalism (both interpersonal and technical) with demonstrated experience as a speaker in a professional presentation environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP processes, integrations, and principles.
- Ability to be a self starter, team player, and effective leader in a fast paced environment.
- PROSCI, CMI, or CCMP certification preferred.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 programs preferred.
