Traveling Millwright Technician

Job Description:

• THIS INCLUDES TRAVELING WITH PER DIEM (will be away from home)
• Millwright Technicians will be utilized in multiple capacities. They are responsible for the relocation and setup of industrial machinery and equipment. This is very precise work and contractors need to be highly skilled in this process.
• Millwright Technicians will be responsible for leveling, aligning and installing machinery on foundations or base plates and setting, leveling and aligning electric motors or other power sources such as turbines with the equipment.
• Millwright Technicians MUST be able to read and interpret blueprints and be very mechanically inclined.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Structural welding experience is a plus

-Advanced rigging

-Workers should be able to work within precise standards of accuracy; rate information using standards which can be measured or checked; compare and see differences in size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects; look at flat drawings or pictures and understand how they would look as solid objects; and follow oral and written directions, plans and blueprints.

Shift/Pay/Duration:

• 1st shift position, working 50+ hours a week
• 3 month contract minimum
• $24-28hr depending on skills and certifications
