Requisition Summary

Do you want to help shape the future of Peterbilt? The Vehicle Definition team has the opportunity for you. We are looking for a Product Description Book (PDB) author with interest in supporting innovative design development. Duties involve interface with the Advance Styling & Surfacing team, Product Planning, Marketing, Sales, and Management to evaluate product user requirements that support launching the next generation of industry leading trucks. Scope of work includes working on new development programs, research proposals for potential new product designs and employing innovative skills to mature ideas for concept development.

The role will be responsible for documenting the product requirements for upcoming projects. In this position, the Product Description Book author will gather input from multiple stakeholders, support scope change requests, assist engineering development teams, and support internal businesses to communicate the vehicle level product expectations.
