Job description

The Integration Management Finance Business Partner is responsible for acquisition and divestiture post-transaction finance activities including preparing and gathering financial information, project managing finance portion of multiple transactions, and achieving transaction timelines and milestones. The role's primary responsibility is post-transaction finance activities, but will also work with due diligence to ensure alignment for efficient and effective post-transaction activities.

 

• Develop post-transaction finance and reporting processes, standardize tools, write standard/ad-hoc reports, and execute deliverables in accordance with terms of the transaction.
• Project manage multiple post-transactions to ensure finance and other reporting timelines and milestones are established and achieved.
• Gather and assemble required data by running reports and coordinating with other functions to ensure deliverables are prepared and communicated to required parties.
• Work with leadership to assess risks and opportunities associated with executed transactions.
• Identify opportunities, develop continuous improvement plans, and execute enhancements to streamline post-transaction processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Participate in due diligence process for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal qualities and fosters positive working relationships with peers.
• Prepare and present financial and non-financial information to management and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal agreements relating to corporate transactions.
• Ability to manage large datasets and summarize/present data in simple visual manner, highlighting key takeaways and action items.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in corporate transactions.
• Assist with other finance related tasks as required.

 

 

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 5-7 years experience in a similar role.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other related certification preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated project management experience.

• Information Systems or Information Management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, inter-personal, numeric & problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

• General office environment, sitting for extended periods
• Close visual acuity when working with computers, etc.

• Work remotely and also on-site in Bloomington, Ind.
• Perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
