What You’ll Do

Salem Nationalease is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician to meet service needs, and to perform customer vehicle maintenance and repairs in our modern and well maintained Fletcher, NC service shop.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Service Manager in managing the diesel mechanics and the scheduling of repairs to maximize work efficiency
• Check and review work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled
• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
• Inspect and if necessary, road test vehicles upon completion of work to insure quality of repairs performed
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors
• Complies with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding ares

Job Requirements:

• Minimum three years diesel maintenance experience
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Strong Customer Orientation
• Valid drivers license
• CDL driver license is preferred
• Good driving record and proven work history
• Must have own toolsMust be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures
