Position: Production Worker

Location: Edinburgh, IN

Wage:  $21.27 Hourly; plus shift diff ($0.50 for 2nd and $0.75 for 3rd.)

Shift: Must be open to ANY shift

While reporting to the   Supervisor ,   as the   Production Worker, you   will be responsible for   collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. S afety, quality, productivity   and   strong   work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.  

What You’ll Be Doing:  

• Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing  

• Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery  

• Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products  

• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs  

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area  

• Assists other departments as needed

• You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training  

• Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring  

• Arrive to work on time with a strong attendance record  

• An individual looking to advance with   a   high   school   diploma or GED
