Job description
Portland Radio Group (PRG) operates eight (8) leading Radio stations and Web sites throughout Souther Maine. Ours are some of the most recognizable audio brands in New England: News Radio WGAN, Coast 93.1, 101.9 WPOR, 98.9 WCLZ and more. We are presently seeking news junkies to join Southern Maine"s only seven-days-a-week Radio newsroom. Responsibilities include gathering, writing and producing local news stories; interviewing newsmakers, producing podcast content and delivering news updates on our award winning News Radio 98.5 FM and AM 560 WGAN. Some experience in broadcast or digital journalism is preferred, but we will consider training passionate newcomers who show promise in news writing and delivery.
