Division Information
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
Requisition Summary
This position will focus on driving innovative solutions as we continue to expand our product portfolio with future technology. A successful candidate will be highly self-directed, an excellent problem-solver and be able to work with all levels of the organization. This position will be a strong intermediary between our PACCAR divisions to better understand requirements for their products and help translate those into user stories for our software development team.
About the Team
You will get to be part of a team that focuses on getting vehicle software to our various components on our PACCAR Trucks! Our team’s development focuses on applications that enable telematics, over-the-air software updates and our service tool solutions that allow software to update our vehicles.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
Facilitate user story workshops for scoping projects to develop and maintain the product backlog.
Gather, interpret, and analyze business requirements from multiple stakeholders, teams, and departments.
Develop project plans including relevant artifacts for the program management processes.
Communicate project status to senior management and project sponsors.
Manage risks, issues and impediments and escalate in a timely manner.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Work collaboratively with our software developers to ensure our product is meeting the business requirements.
Work with the development teams to triage defects and ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
Facilitate 1st tier support for our applications in working with our software development team.
Understand project estimates and manage the project budget once approved.
Qualifications
3+ years hands-on IT technical experience, project management or business analyst role.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
Strong teambuilding skills.
Strong application of process improvement methodologies.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
Excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Strong technical aptitude.

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors, including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Business Analyst is $84,000 - $131,700 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
