Hiring Full-Time Role as a Supply Drive Advocate
We are currently in search of dynamic individuals to join our team, representing a prestigious charity committed to making a profound impact on the lives of foster care children. As an integral member of our team, you will actively engage in local in-person events, both indoor and outdoor, serving as the primary ambassador for the organization. Your daily duties will involve interacting with potential donors, articulating our mission, and addressing inquiries, with the overarching goal of raising substantial funds and cultivating positive connections within the community.
We're looking for candidates who are highly personable and comfortable engaging with diverse groups in public settings. Successful individuals in our company typically have previous roles as servers, sales associates, college students, or in general customer service positions. This entry-level, in-person role requires no prior experience. Candidates must have their own transportation to and from events.
Requirements:
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting to and from the workplace
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and proficiency in building strong relationships
- Immediate availability to commence work
- Adaptability to work seamlessly in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Proficiency in engaging in conversations with a diverse range of individuals throughout the day
- Enthusiastic attitude towards continuous learning and growth within the assigned position
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in fundraising events hosted at various high-traffic locations, including markets, festivals, stores, and restaurants, both indoors and outdoors
- Effectively communicate the history, mission, and objectives of our organization to potential donors
- Engage on a daily basis with a diverse range of potential donors
- Actively encourage donations while providing clear explanations of fund utilization
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and sales details
- Set up and dismantle event equipment as required
- Participate in meetings for campaign discussions and reporting
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions focused on generating innovative fundraising ideas
