Job description

National Equipment and Service, a premier provider of commercial dock and door installation, maintenance, and repair services, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our expanding team. As a key player in our operations, you will work closely with the Sales Team and Field Service Technicians across the Southwest Region. Your primary role will be to manage parts, materials, and equipment, including purchasing, returns, listings, pricing, logistics, and inventory control. This role demands excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities

• Manage product/service listings in service software
• Create and manage purchase orders for all field-related purchases
• Oversee all inventory data for the field service department
• Ensure the warehouse and its inventory are organized
• Receive and allocate warehouse deliveries
• Provide pricing for jobs, estimates, invoices, and employees
• Develop lasting relationships with new suppliers
• Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with suppliers
• Approve Home Depot purchases for field employees and ensure purchase orders are split accordingly
• Perform purchasing for the field service department

Qualifications

• Prior experience in procurement
• Experience with vendor management
• Familiarity with inventory management software and ERPs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Fluency in English
