Job description
Job Title: On-Site Supervisor
Hourly Rate: $30 - $35 (Considerable amount of overtime)
This is a traveling role
- Responsible for the supervision of all personnel and activities on project site.
- Obtain and read all project documents including, but not limited to bid drawings and technical specifications, project workbooks, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules.
- Manage the installation portion of the project schedule as defined by the Project Manager.
- Serve as primary contact for on-site project communication and documentation.
- Coordinate activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner and other trades as required while on site.
- Provide regular reports of job progress to Project Manager and all stakeholders.
- Generate and/or respond to construction communication including, but not limited to: notification of theft or damage to materials, tools or vehicles, safety or injury reports, material handoff or inventory, punch lists, field reports, sign off documents or other documentation as assigned or required.
- Regularly inspect installation work performed by staff and/or subcontractors.
- Test, or certify the performance of, installed systems.
- Testing trouble shooting and supporting our AV Solution
- Site surveys
EXPERIENCE
- MS Outlook and Teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think and work independently and meet necessary deadlines.
- Maintain positive interactions with colleagues and customers.
- Attention to detail.
- Mechanically and technically inclined, proficient with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
- Ability to pass a Federal Background Check to receive clearance.
- AV Industry certifications always a plus.
- Hours worked: 40 hours Per Week, (Ability to work overtime when required)
- Typical office or active building construction site assembly environment majority of time on warehouse floor or at installation site as part of daily routine.
- Have the ability to stand and lift 50 pounds overhead.
- Be comfortable pulling cable or installing equipment on such setups.
- Pull cable and use tools in spaces such as drop ceilings and raised floors.
- This is a Travel position.
