Service Drive Consultant

Murdock Hyundai in Lindon is looking for a strong customer service oriented and energetic Service Lane Consultant who will greet and communicate with customers as they enter the service department.

This job is a Full Time position working flexible hours, Pay $16-$18 per hour

Position Summary

The full time service drive consultant primary duty is to warmly greet the service customers who enter the service department and begin the process of writing the repair order. The service drive consultant will gather specific information related to their service visit.

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout an expedited and transparent vehicle servicing experience. Communicate with customers in a respectful, clear, engaging, and transparent time sensitive manner.

Warmly greet and welcome all customers as they enter the service drive, explain what they can expect next and begin the process of writing the repair order by asking a variety of questions. Use various tools and computer programs to gather specific information needed to begin the repair order. At a minimum, customer name, address, contact information including phone number for text messages, VIN, reason for visit, perform MPI-multi-point inspection and introduce guest to their advisor.

Skills

Communication-strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with guests. Good listening skills and clear speaking voice are required.

Organization-manage guests' needs, keep records organized, pass along appropriate information to advisor, multi-task and manage time effectively.

Critical Thinking-use critical thinking skills to determine what a guest needs by asking a variety of questions to provide explanation to advisor and to technician.

Attention to detail-review guest's service history if available, gathering vehicle details accurately.

Empathy-ability to be empathetic to all guests by showing them understanding of their point of view and build a relationship.

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications
