Consultancy firm located outside of Charleston specializing in technical, economic, and feasibility studies; assessments of existing facilities, design of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power, fire alarm, data distribution, and project commissioning.- Perform all aspects of mechanical engineering as it relates to individually assigned projects. Mechanical System designs to include:
- Capable of working independently to design multiple systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection).
- Understands and implements cross-discipline coordination.
- Plan & design mechanical systems for complex projects of various types including; institutional facilities, commercial buildings, medical complexes, educational facilities, laboratories, and government facilities including Construction Administration.
- Performs self QC on work and plans for/seeks appropriate peer review of work.
- BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Architectural Engineering Degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering
- 12+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Business Operation Systems
- AutoCAD (most recent edition)
- Revit (most recent edition)
- HVAC Load Analysis Program (HAP or TRACE)
- Medical, Dental, Vision
- PTO
- 401k
