Job description
Since 1926, Camp Anokijig has offered campers of all ages a multitude of exciting and rewarding camp experiences. The Anokijig facility consists of 396 acres of forest, marsh, and farmland surrounding 2/3 of the shores of Little Elkhart Lake in Plymouth, WI. Programs include an extensive summer camp program annually serving nearly 3000 campers aged 7-16 in one-week camp sessions, 3 family camp weekends, a multitude of recreational group outings, and numerous outdoor education groups. Programming takes place primarily from April to November with the addition of winter weekend outings throughout January and February. As a 501c3 not for profit organization there is a large reliance on volunteers for program delivery as well as annual camp set-up and tear-down. Transportation is offered for those volunteers in spring and fall to camp on Fridays, home on Sundays. June -August transportation is offered for our summer campers to camp Sundays, home on Saturdays. Two runs. Madison, WI to Camp and Lake forest, Il to camp with stops between on both. Applicants must be comfortable working with 7yrs and older. Vehicles are 26ft Shuttle style bus, or Suburban. NO CDL required. Friday hours starting 2pm or 5pm. W Pay is $12.00-$14.00 per hr based on experience. Must have good driving record, pass criminal background check, willingness to obtain a Federal Drivers Medical Exam, and a positive disposition.
