We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to work as a member of our population health interdisciplinary care management team providing clinical support to advocate for safe and effective medication use and access. The Clinical Pharmacist will have clinical practice experience with evidence-based pharmacotherapy recommendations including but not limited to diabetes mellitus, heart failure, coronary artery disease, COPD, asthma as well as familiarity with medical conditions managed by common specialty medications such as inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid conditions, and multiple sclerosis.
The Clinical Pharmacist will be able to advocate on behalf of members by proactively engaging with internal and external business and clinical partners to assure members pharmacy-related needs are met. The Clinical Pharmacist will need to be able to navigate multiple proprietary computerized platforms to review and provide written documentation of all activities. The Clinical Pharmacist will develop and foster relationships with clinical colleagues including RN case managers and medical directors as well as internal business partners. The Clinical Pharmacist will need solid interest in collaboratively developing innovative solutions in a fast-paced corporate environment with a vast array of both clinical and business partners and stakeholders and have both solid written and verbal communication skills.
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. PST

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
