Job description
PSI Pax is currently recruiting for a Tier 2 Help Desk w/TS/SCI Full Scope Poly to support our government customer in Columbia, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Will be required to travel to various locations within the main campus to perform repairs and troubleshoot problems.
- Will be required to perform Data Transfer Agent requests to transfer files between networks.
- Will be required to interface with our Tier 2 technical support team and our Availability Management team to escalate any issues that require additional assistance to resolve.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs electronics, computer, peripheral and/or other types of components and equipment, at various locations within the main campus.
- Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.
- Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.
- Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
- Performs a range of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
- Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.
- May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly clearance
- Must be able to walk or travel within the main campus
- Five (5) years of related experience or ten years of related experience without a bachelor’s degree
- Must have one of the following CompTIA Certifications: A+, Network + or higher
- Must be able to work Monday thru Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, computer science or something similar
