Job description
Our client, a leading provider of composite manufacturing solutions and high value composite parts for aerospace and defense manufacturers worldwide, is seeking a Composites/Inspection professional to join their team in Miamisburg, OH. With a competitive salary range of $28-34/hour, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, focusing on composite materials for aviation applications.
- Perform inspections using ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing techniques.
- Interpret and evaluate test results, ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain meticulous records of inspections, test results, and relevant documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations during all inspection processes.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements, evolving NDT technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an NDI Level 2 Inspector following industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in non-destructive testing, with a focus on aviation-grade composite materials.
- Familiarity with aerospace regulations and a strong grasp of quality control standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills and acute attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Dedication to safety and strict adherence to established inspection protocols.
