Job description
LaSalle Network has partnered with one of the top retail organizations in the country who is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team! They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Business Planning Finance team. This individual will play a crucial role in driving strategic financial planning and analysis, supporting key decision-makers across the organization.
As the Senior Financial Analyst for Business Planning and FP&A, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of financial planning, analysis and budgeting. Reporting directly to the Corporate Business Planning Manager, you will collaborate with divisional VPs, providing insightful financial guidance and driving the development of short and long-term P&L forecasts and annual budgets. This position offers a competitive base salary up to $120,000.
Senior Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support short and long-term strategic planning
Analyze financial data, key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and ensure alignment of financial goals with overall company objectives
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with divisional VPs to set realistic and achievable financial targets
Drive the creation of accurate and timely financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities
Monitor budget variances and provide detailed explanations to support effective decision-making
Partner with divisional VPs to align financial strategies with business goals, ensuring a holistic approach to company-wide financial planning
Provide scenario analysis and strategic insights to support decision-making processes
Serve as the primary financial planning contact for all divisional VPs, fostering strong relationships and open lines of communication
Present financial results and analyses to executive leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement within the FP&A function, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Senior Financial Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
