Your Role with the Company

In this position, you'll tie the work of multiple disciplines (mechanical, hardware, and software) into a final product.  This will include leading on electrical/hardware architecture on upcoming smart connected products, driving strategy & roadmap, and collaborating with cross functional teams designing, building, and testing prototypes.  You’ll act as a Subject Mater Expert in the technical delivery of IoT connected consumer product, using your knowledge of electronic hardware, mechatronics, software, and sensor-integrated systems. This includes working as a lead in technical design of full product electrical architecture, including power, connectivity, embedded controls, and sensor integration.

Background Profile

• Expertise in leading complex electronic/embedded systems projects through the entire development life-cycle (from concept to production)
• 8+ years of experience with architecture and systems engineering across electrical, firmware, and mechanical systems (audio and optical systems a plus) in spaces such as high-end consumer products, stand-alone medical devices, appliances, or related systems, where electronic hardware works with an app.  
• Exposure to SoC evaluation, sensors, algorithms, software, and ability to work collaboratively with experts in different fields to make architectural tradeoffs
• Working knowledge of board-level hardware.
• BSEE with an emphasis on electronics design (MSEE a plus).

Salary Range: $125,000-145,000/year, plus bonus (may be some flexibility upwards for industry-leading expertise)
