Job description

Degree Required: Doctorate or Terminal Degree from a Regionally Accredited College or University

Required Qualifications:

Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures and skills courses in kinesiology, with a focus on sports management.
Ability to adeptly teach courses using various modalities, including face-to-face, online, and virtual remote formats.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
Candidates with expertise in coaching education or other areas of kinesiology, in addition to sports management, will be given preference.
Responsibilities:

Teaching load of 24 credit hours per year, primarily in kinesiology classes within our Sports Management major, which is an interdisciplinary program shared with the Business and Computer Science Division. Classes are delivered through a mix of face-to-face and online formats.
Additional duties include advising and mentoring students, engaging in scholarship and professional development activities, contributing to service within the division and the college, as well as participating in initiatives to support student recruitment and retention.
