Job description
Position Responsibilities: Development of web-based APIs written in C# with .NET Core access various 3rd party services and SQL Server databases. Apply best practices and techniques to design, develop, test, debug, deploy, support and maintain complex web applications based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards. Investigate and fix problems with web-based software in real-time, using modern profiling techniques to triage issues as they arise. Conduct experiments and analyze data to identify ways to improve technical performance, ensuring that results are valid and reproducible. Communicate technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical audiences. Minimum Requirements: Either - Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in a role such as software development, release management or deployment engineering Or - High School/GED and 5+ years of experience in a role such as software development, release management or deployment engineering Back-end web development experience, particularly 2+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core and Microsoft SQL Server to validate web-API calls. Pluses include experience with Visual Studio or Visual Code, Entity Framework, RESTful API, Swagger, Visual Basic and Azure Experience in Technology infrastructure, such as Networking, Monitoring, Systems, Databases, etc. Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates. Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
