EMR recycles ten million tons of material annually, from beverage cans to aircraft carriers. We work with various metals including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel, and can recycle them into more than 200 new sustainable raw materials.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our My Auto Store Parts/Utility Driver in Camden, New Jersey. My Auto Store is one of the largest auto recyclers and used auto part stores on the East Coast with more than 200,000 OEM used car & truck parts in stock daily.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving a 16-foot box truck to deliver automotive parts to customers.
• Responsible for ensuring all deliveries are loaded onto the truck at the start of the shift.
• Responsible for interacting with customers.
• Responsible for collecting all paperwork and complying with all federal and state regulations.
• Prior experience driving a box truck and making deliveries is preferred.
• Perform physical labor as necessary in the performance of the assignment
• Will require employees to work in all weather conditions. The employee will be outside for the majority of their day.
• This job will require driving routes in the tri-state area.
• Must operate truck according to state and federal safety laws
• Heavy lifting is required
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• When not on the road, employees will assist in warehouse operations.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work from 6 am to 6 pm and occasional weekends.

• Geographic knowledge of the tri-state area and its roads
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Ability to safely navigate congested roads and maintain an even temperament
• Ability to project a professional appearance and demeanor with customers
• Ability to read a map and/or follow written directions
• Ability to work overtime, both scheduled and unscheduled, to meet the needs of our customers
• Must accurately complete logs, reports, and vehicle inspections daily
• Must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with all company policies and procedures
• Reached the age of 21, or older to cross state lines
• GED or High school Diploma
• Drug testing, physical, criminal background checks, and driving background investigations will be conducted by management before employment
• Must possess a current DOT physical assessment card
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
