Job description
We are seeking a talented UX Designer with a strong background in e-commerce to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional design skills with a deep understanding of user experience principles, particularly in the context of online retail environments.
General Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a portfolio showcasing e-commerce projects and a strong understanding of design principles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar
- Experience conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a drive to continuously improve and innovate
General Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors within the e-commerce domain
- Create user personas, user journeys, and other relevant documentation to inform design decisions
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive and engaging user experiences
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications, incorporating best practices in e-commerce UX design
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve upon designs
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce and user experience design
- Advocate for the user throughout the design process, ensuring that their needs are prioritized and addressed effectively
- Perform other tasks as assigned
