Job description
Now Hiring a Scrap Metal Inspector for a Great Company in Cleveland, OH
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Accurately inspect inbound loads of Non-Ferrous material.
• Determine the grade of material and complete inspection slips.
• Accurately make deductions for non-conforming materials.
• Direct truck traffic to keep trucks moving efficiently through the yard.
• Communicate and assist other yard employees as necessary.
• Communicate material discrepancies with operations and sales team.
• Adhere to all safety, and environmental standards. Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Assist and sort a variety of recycled materials and metals to separate out high-grade metals, such as copper, brass, and aluminum
Qualifications Include:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Good communication skills.
• Non-Ferrous Metals Knowledge (Preferred)
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process.
• Lift 50lbs.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.

Schedule: 6:30am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday) + Occasional OT Saturday
Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
