Contract to hire
Richmond VA- Must be living in the Richmond area

C2C rate: $70/hour
Must be an US Citizen or currently holding a Green Card.
Required Technical Skills

Manage firewalls, switches and routers in the main office and remote offices.
Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
Deploy network configuration changes and software upgrades.
Test and update network disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot network security issues including Firewall, IPS threat-detection and VPN issues.
Provide technical guidance to Desktop support team
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems / Computer Science / Business or equivalent
4 Years Information Systems experience in Infrastructure Administration
Exceptional knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with Firewalls, routers, switches, and network administration.
CCNA, CCNP, Cloud Infrastructure, XAAS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, Firepower and Meraki routers, switches and WAPs.
Familiarity or experience with SDWAN
Familiarity with Citrix, VMWare, and SAN technologies
Experience maintaining and monitoring Wide and Local Area network.
Working knowledge in the following:
BGP & EIGRP support
IPSEC and SSL VPNs configuration and support
Layer 3 switching support
VLAN configuration and support
Wireless (WCS) maintenance and support
