Azure Cloud Engineer Location Indiana : Role: Azure Cloud Engineer Location: Noida, WFO Duration: 6 months Responsibilities: Migration Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess existing IT infrastructure and applications for cloud readiness. Develop comprehensive cloud migration plans, considering lift-and-shift, replatforming, and refactoring approaches. Utilize Azure tools and migration services to migrate workloads to the cloud efficiently and securely. Manage and track migration progress, identify and address potential roadblocks, and ensure successful cutover. Azure Infrastructure Management: Design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions on Azure using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. Configure virtual networks, storage accounts, computer resources, and other Azure services for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and terraform. Able to work in fast paced 24x7 operational environment. Must have expertise in one of the OS platforms, either windows or Linux. Able to configure / setup the high availability / clustering at cloud or OS layer. Implement robust security best practices, including access control, encryption, and threat detection for cloud resources. Define and enforce cloud governance policies to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations. Monitor and manage security risks and vulnerabilities in the cloud environment. Performance and Cost Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency. Implement cost-saving strategies like reserved instances, spot instances, and autoscaling. Analyze resource usage and identify opportunities for further optimization. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders. Clearly communicate technical concepts and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences. Document processes and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 2+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure Proven understanding of Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates and terraform. Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance principles Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies. Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python or terraform. Certified Azure Administrator and specific Azure services
