Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year + Benefits

Position Overview: We are seeking a Debt Resolutions Specialist to join our team in Reston, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in developing and implementing personalized debt repayment plans, negotiating with creditors, and providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the debt resolution process.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clients' financial situations and develop customized debt repayment strategies.
• Communicate with creditors to negotiate favorable repayment terms, settlements, and payment plans.
• Educate clients on budgeting, financial management, and debt reduction strategies.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the debt resolution process.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress towards debt resolution goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience working for a bank or credit union.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services, including loans, credit cards, and debt management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to working with clients experiencing financial difficulties.
