Job description

MAJOR FUNCTION

The Pharmacy Program Manager (PPM) works in collaboration with the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and the 340B Manager to develop and manage programs integral to the function of the pharmacy department, which includes both the clinical pharmacy department as well as the prescription pharmacy department. The PPM is heavily involved in the coordination of the Henry J. Austin Pharmacy Departments including management of pharmacy contracts, development of policies and procedures, assurance of 340B compliance, creation and implementation of new pharmacy services, tracking and trending pharmacy performance, and management of pharmacy workforce needs.
