Newport Mesa Animal Hospital in Costa Mesa, California is a privately-owned and full-service small animal practice that is absolutely thrilled to announce that we are adding an additional Associate Veterinarian to our laid back, community-oriented team . Established in 1983 by Dr. Tom, we have been serving Costa Mesa and its neighboring cities for over four decades. Our commitment to progressive medicine, experienced support staff and a welcoming atmosphere set the stage for a fulfilling veterinary career at this sunny, Californian clinic.
At Newport Mesa Animal Hospital, we take pride in our laid-back, progressive approach to medicine. Our strategic scheduling ensures efficient patient flow, minimizing stress and enabling the highest level of patient care. We prioritize the happiness and mental health of our staff , fostering an environment where they can thrive. Our DVMs practice medicine in an open-minded and collaborative way and this style of medicine has gained us the trust and respect of our incredibly loyal clientele over the past 40 years.
We maintain efficient paper-light operations with fully electronic medical records through Cornerstone. DVMs spend approximately 5 minutes per patient on medical record entry with our efficient system. We have a brand-new digital x-ray system integrated with Idexx/Cornerstone, a full in-house Idexx laboratory, ultrasound, CO2 laser, cold therapy laser, digital dental radiography, Cubex, and much more.
Looking for mentorship ? You will benefit from Dr. Tom’s 40+ years of small animal medicine and surgery experience, as he mentors you on a day-to-day basis. Our laid-back, family-oriented culture encourages RVTs to operate at their full potential, giving DVMs more freedom in patient care.
