Job description
Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Technician
Pay Rate: $28-$34/hour depending on experience
Location: Anderson, IN
Job Duties:
- Support production with lines down as well as special projects as needed.
- Work with electrical and mechanical components.
- Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills with tradespersons, supervisors, and operators.
- Focus on safety.
- Interpret electrical schematics.
- Work with OSHA-mandated industrial safety requirements; LOTO and NFPA 70e.
- Will be using multiple measuring tools and devices both in inches and in millimeters.
- Lead group as needed.
- Perform fabrication to complete job tasks.
- Work alone yet stay focused and motivated.
Requirements:- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 or 4-year Technical Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical Trades (Preferred)
- Trade certificates in related field (Preferred)
- 5 years of previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Must be willing to work in a team maintenance group
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects and activities at once
- Ability to physically lift 75 pounds or more
- Ability to work in a hot forging atmosphere
- Must be able to work shift hours with overtime and weekends as needed
