This position will remain open until filled. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.

JOB SUMMARY: This position will supervise PWCS compliance and investigations related to all local, state, and federal laws, as well as related School Board policies and regulations prohibiting discrimination and harassment of PWCS employees and students. Specifically, this position will lead the PWCS day-to-day operations of federal compliance for staff and students related to ADA, Title VI, Title VII and Title IX complaints. The Supervisor, Compliance, will ensure federal/state law, division policies, and the PWCS Vision 2025 Launching Thriving Futures Strategic Plan are in alignment and undergirded by the PWCS DEIC frameworks. As a key leader within the Office of the Chief Equity Officer, the Supervisor-Compliance must have experience in leading student and staff-level investigations and comprehensive case management knowledge and skills. This person will supervise a team of investigators to ensure all aspects of the investigation process are fair, legal, and comprehensive. This leader will also support the PWCS Strategic Plan through the development and facilitation of professional learning opportunities aimed at the prevention and reduction of discrimination and harassment within student and employee populations, ensuring a positive climate and culture for all. Frequent interfacing with the Office of Division Counsel, Student Management and Alternative Programs, Office of Special Education, Office of Student Services, and Office of Human Resources will be required to address claims of discrimination and harassment throughout the division.The Supervisor, Compliance, will also lead continuous improvement of all compliance strategies and processes. The Supervisor, Compliance, must have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment laws, including anti-discrimination laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, ADA Amendments Act of 2008, and other applicable laws.
Job Description
SALARY:
Grade 18: $103,411 - $198,142 per year (competitive benefits)
