Job description
Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney to join a prominent law firm with a strong national presence in their esteemed Trusts & Estates Taxation Department in their Los Angeles, San Francisco or Irvine office. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in trust administration and sophisticated estate planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance in trust administration and estate planning.
- Draft a variety of estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts.
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized and effective estate planning strategies.
- Handle complex legal matters related to trusts, estates, and taxation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Trusts & Estates law.
- Strong academic credentials from a recognized law school.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
- Large firm experience is preferred.
- LL.M. in Taxation is preferred.
Compensation:
- $250,000 to $300,000 - The actual base pay offered will depend upon factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, and legal industry experience.
