Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Roxy. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of top-notch dishes that align with our commitment to excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a new and exciting venture in the heart of Bergen Lafayette.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily menu items with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare and assemble ingredients according to restaurant recipes and specifications.
• Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance menu offerings and presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of experience as a Line Cook in a professional kitchen setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Experience in butchering fish is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
