The Sports Video Coordinator provides support for Student Media sports television productions.

Preferred Relevant Education and Experience Preferred Relevant Experience: At least two years of experience in audio/video production and post-production, camera operation, non-linear editing, lighting, producing and directing live and taped shows. Knowledge of a variety of media formats and requirements for saving and exporting. Demonstrated experience with a non-linear editing system, Adobe Premiere. Experience in an educational or corporate environment producing and developing video projects. Ability to take direction and make decisions in a fast pace, deadline driven environment. Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills, time management, and interpersonal skills. At least one year of experience as a manager of video production department. Supervisory Responsibilities Has authority or responsibility for the supervision of student workers or graduate assistants only. Job Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist the Video Manager with athletic television productions on ESPN3. Show formatting of live broadcasts including graphics, commercial reels, features and sponsored elements.
  • Produce, direct and associate direct live events. Develop high-level features for athletic programming.
  • Serve as the primary production coordinator for specific sports throughout the season. Assist with the development of Student Media crews in camera operation, replay, audio, graphics and technical direction.
  • Assist in Indiana State University Student Media new media efforts, including highlight video production and social media education, monitoring and promotion.
Secondary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with research as requested.
  • Assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned by Video Manager.
