Dental Assistant-Loudoun County/Lansdowne area-NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

The ideal candidate will have some dental assisting knowledge, preferably in an orthodontic environment, be a people person who is detailed oriented, and enjoys working in a team environment! Must have a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to develop a good report with patients and parents.

Must be comfortable with the following duties and preferably hold the following certifications:

• Chairside assistance to orthodontist & preparation of the procedure.
• Comfortable assisting independently with knowledge of bonding, debonds, wire, and bracket placement.
• Fabrication of dental appliances such as Essix retainers.
• Knowledgeable with aligners systems and using Itero machine.
• Confidently speak to patients and parents.
• Responsible for stocking and ordering supplies.
• Sterilization of instruments and clinical bays to turn over for the next patient.
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Knowledgeable with computers, Cloud9 software a plus.
• Currently have X-ray Certification for state of Virginia or must obtain within 6 months of employment if certified in another state.
