Safety Officer

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Safety Officer performs daily door monitoring checks and conducts scheduled internal and eternal rounds. They are responsible for responding immediately to all emergency situations at the community and are required to demonstrate the acts and principles of exemplary customer service to all internal and external customers at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Safety Officer performs daily door monitoring checks with Safety Manager or designated management representative, conducts scheduled internal and external rounds, maintains departmental equipment to ensure proper functioning and reports all discrepancies and unsafe conditions to ensure the safety and security of the community.
• The Safety Officer is responsible for responding immediately to all emergency situations at the community. The Safety Officer shall practice proper First Responder protocols and medical emergency policies and procedures. The Safety Officer is responsible for practicing and maintaining emergency response skills.
• The Safety Officer is required to demonstrate the acts and principles of exemplary customer service to all internal and external customers at all times.

Regularly maintain contact/communication with other Safety personnel during the course of the shift.

The Safety Officer is required to demonstrate the acts and principles of exemplary customer service/hospitality to all internal and external customers at all times. Responding to and documenting customer complaints professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current CPR with AED.

• Eighteen years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to speak, read and understand English in addition to strong written skills.
