Physician- Home Visits
A compassionate job-seeker is needed for the Physician opportunity with our company! As a Home Visit Physician, you will be responsible for providing primary medical care to patients in their homes and facilities
. This full-time opportunity offers $220k- $255k annually based on experience! Join Us and Be Part of the Samaritan Difference! What You’ll Do: - Provide primary medical care to Home Visit Physician (HVP) patients.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff in the HVP practice to ensure quality patient care.
- Provide appropriate communication and coordination with any of the patient's specialists on an as needed basis.
- Maintain open communication with office staff related to scheduling and other patient care needs.
- Complete documentation in EMR in timely manner.
- Support and participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives in the practice.
- Understand and comply with regulations and standards particular to state, federal entities as well as payer rules/regulations.
- Review and provide input on clinical policies and procedures.
- Acts as a liaison between Samaritan Home Visit Physicians and the medical community.
- Conduct community presentations as needed.
- Support and collaborate on growth initiatives for the practice.
- Receive and resolve patient complaints in collaboration with Director and Practice Manager.
- Participate in call activities on a rotating basis.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services and workshops.
- Attend staff meetings on a regular basis.
- Accept and perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
What You’ll Bring to Our Team: - Minimum of 4 years related experience
- D. or D.O. required
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey
- Board certification in hospice and palliative care or eligibility for certification
- Bilingual is a plus!
