The Opportunity

Nutanix is seeking a Director of Treasury to join our Finance team. As the Director of Treasury, you will play a critical role in managing all areas of Treasury – Cash, banking relationships, investments, foreign exchange and others, as well as other risk management aspects of the Company’s operations such as insurance. This position will report to VP, Tax and Treasury.

Your Role

+ Manage our global cash management processes including, but not limited to, managing banking relationships, banking operations, cash flows across our entities, foreign exchange execution and cost optimization.

+ Support maintenance of bank account structure, including bank signatories, banking resolutions. Know Your Customer ( KYC ) documentation, bank users and banking portal

+ Implement controls and procedures for bank account access, payment approvals and provide recommendations to control structure. Develop and Implement Treasury policies, process, and controls.

+ Prepare global cash forecasts leveraging automated solutions where possible. Work closely with FP&A to assist with FCF modeling.

+ Lead the annual insurance renewal for all programs, as well as broker relationships and interactions

+ Identify and implement improvements related to banking, insurance, and ERP . Evaluate and enhance existing Treasury Management System

+ Review investment portfolio and liaise with the Company’s investment managers in line with the Company investment policy

+ Assist with the management of inter-company relationships and settlements

+ Partner with other internal groups including Tax, Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Business Development etc.

+ Review FX exposure and implement programs to reduce volatility as needed

What You Will Bring

+ 10+ years of relevant work experience

+ Prior experience in hands on treasury operations role

+ Passion and curiosity for Technology – proven ability to leverage Technology to streamline processes

+ Be able to identify internal control weaknesses and implement solutions

+ Ability to prioritize work and scale operations at a growing global fast paced technology company

+ Self-starter with strong ethical standards.

+ Be detailed oriented, flexible, organized, transparent.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Strong understanding of Treasury Management Systems, online banking portals, Cash and Investment management.

+ Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $164,320 and USD $328,680 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
