Job description
JSAS HealthCare, Inc is a non-profit outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) located in Neptune, NJ. JSAS HealthCare, Inc has been providing medication assisted treatment services to Monmouth and Ocean County residents since 1984.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to counselors and special programs staff, and assists counselors in obtaining CADC/LCADC
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct ongoing clinical supervision to counselors in the provision of counseling services to patients, including the selection and utilization of appropriate counseling methods and goals
- Ensures optimal treatment and coordination of care for patients, by maintaining ongoing communication with medical and clinical staff.
- In conjunction with other supervisory staff, oversees the admissions process and assists in the determination of patient's eligibility for admission to treatment.
- Coordinates change of modality for patients requesting extended treatment.
- Assist/direct clinical meetings/case conferences with all clinical staff
- Participation/leadership in treatment team meetings as well as grievance and appeals meeting.
- Provide counseling hours to clients, individual or group, per Federal/State requirements.
- Assures departmental compliance with all Federal, State, and County regulations and grant requirements and CARF standards.
- Manage any personnel issues with regards to clinical staff.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field. LCADC, LCSW, or LPC and CCS.
