Supply Planning Coordinator
Description
We are looking for a talented Supply Planning Coordinator to join our Team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Upfit Center in Arlington, Texas.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Under minimal supervision, determines the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule or independent customer demand. Expedites purchase or production orders as appropriate.
Manages part change requests and ramp up/ramp down activities to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
Create PO’s for Suppliers for raw materials and following up with Suppliers on returns/discrepancies.
Assist Warehouse to solve discrepancies and follow up with Warehouse until Material delivery is complete.
Initiates purchase and work orders to support the demand plan while working with Suppliers to reduce lead time and order quantities balancing supply with demand.
Communicate status of Parts effectively to Production Planners and Production Managers.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in an equivalent field such as Materials Planning, Production Scheduling, Manufacturing or Inventory Control.
Purchasing experience and/or experience working with Suppliers preferred.
Qualified candidate will have extensive data analytics experience, Supply Chain and leadership experience with the ability to multi-task, take ownership and drive a project effectively and efficiently.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
