Elementary Residency Details

Position Summary

The Elementary Resident is responsible for providing ministry and organizational support for the Kids Ministry in order to equip parents, leaders, and volunteers to make disciples of kindergarteners–5th graders.

Job Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Kids Ministry Director to coordinate, communicate, and execute ministry initiatives
• Provide presence and care for Kids Village volunteers and families during weekend services
• Assist in the planning, organizing, and execution of Kids Ministry connection and events
• Participate in development conversations, assignments, and projects with the Kids Ministry Director
• Active involvement in the life of TVC, including staff meetings and events

Qualifications and Requirements

• Agree with The Village Church's Expectations of Membership and Statement of Faith ( and commit to exhibiting a lifestyle that is consistent with the same.
• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with or volunteering with children
• Experience in leading, shepherding, and equipping volunteers
• Proficient in administration, communication, and event planning and execution
• Ability to work within the context of a team
• Flexible and adaptable
