Phlebotomist Certification is required:
Responsibilities:
- All testing collection processes for drug, alcohol, DNA tests, and clinical testing (phlebotomy, urine, saliva, hair, vital signs).
- Draw blood for tests and panels.
- Office administration, record keeping and upkeep, adhering to all relevant state/federal regulations, as well as company policies, and procedures.
- Maintain inventory including ordering, receiving, and storing.
- Regularly collect a range of specimens for various drug and clinical testing including urine.
- Perform basic cleaning to comply with lab protocol/daily office cleaning duties.
- Administer accurate, reliable, confidential, and timely notifications.
- Maintain customer protocols and electronic customer management.
- Manage daily specimen pick-up/drop-off of Fed-Ex, UPS etc
- Maintain client records via data entry and manually.
- Answer phone, check email, check voice mail and fax.
- Assist with scheduling appointments.
- Perform occasional after-hours collections for special events or initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy Certification is required.
- Medical assistant certification/experience is a plus.
- Experience and comfortability with phlebotomy is required.
- Experience with drug and alcohol screens is a plus. DOT experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills, create a welcoming environment.
