Job description
Now hiring a qualified RN / Registered Nurse with corrections or psych experience to work a travel contract 90 miles outside of Denver, CO!
RN Pay:
- $2,124.00 - $2,160.00 weekly working 36 hours.
- Plus travel bonus to assignment
- Weekly Direct Deposit every Friday.
- W2 position with benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
- Local pay packages also available
Schedule and Timeline:
- Now hiring for March start dates.
- 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
- Quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts.
- 36 hours per week with potential to pick up OT.
- 12 hour swing shift; 9a-9p
Corrections RN Job Details:
- Provide healthcare services to inmates.
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
- Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Collaborate with correctional staff to address security concerns while delivering patient care.
Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- 1+ year of corrections, psych or related experience.
- CO or Multistate RN License in good standing.
- Active BLS.
- Clean background check upon hire.
