Pilot Records Specialist

Grant Aviation, Inc.

Location

Anchorage, AK | United States

Job description

Join the dynamic team at Grant Aviation , a premier Alaskan regional air carrier dedicated to serving rural communities since 1971. As a Pilot Records Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations by meticulously managing pilot records.

We believe that air travel isn't a luxury - it's a necessity - and we are committed to creating a safe, friendly, and reliable experience for all our customers.

Our company is built upon respect for our customers, employees, and communities, and we constantly work to improve our operations to ensure smooth travel and enjoyable experiences. We are professional, while staying true to our Alaskan roots and commitment to the personal touch.

Position: Pilot Records Specialist

As the Pilot Records Specialist for Grant Aviation, you will work closely with and report to the Manager of LMS and Training Records. A person in this position will quickly gain familiarity with operational needs and possess the necessary knowledge to process records in compliance with Grant Aviation policy. This individual will be able to facilitate timely completion of tasks to achieve team responsibilities and goals.

What makes this job different than any other records role you could apply for today? Grant Aviation has doubled the size of our organization in the past two and a half years and the records department is a crucial player in preparing for the future of the pilots. This includes enhancing our current services to the company, developing new practices and procedures to add value to current operations, and planning for the future of our department and the company. This means you'll have the opportunity to both apply your established toolkit and develop new tools for your future and ours. The biggest difference we think you'll find, though, is our culture of service, which translates to some pretty great people to work with. Our team is committed to providing safe, reliable, friendly service for internal and external customers and contacts, just as we are for our passengers and clients.

Life on the Job

You will primarily work from our offices on the south end of the Ted Stevens International Airport. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Our culture puts high value on in-person work arrangements, so you will thrive in a busy office environment with plenty of direct interaction.
