- A minimum of three years of work experience in non-profit agency operations, specifically in the fundraising field and/or sales
- Grant writing and reporting skills necessary
- A minimum of three years of work experience in non-profit agency operations, specifically in the fundraising field and/or sales
- Four year degree in related field from an accredited college or university or relevant experience
- Knowledge of fundraising techniques and sources of funding for non-profit agencies and organizations preferred
- Occasional travel required
- Grant writing and reporting skills necessary
- Technology skills in software design programs
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and communication skills needed
- Current driver’s license required
- CPR/First Aid Certification
Responsibilities

- Works with the Resource Development department and Chief Executive Officer to plan and execute resource development strategies for the organization
- Position Title: Resource Development Coordinator
- The Resource Development Coordinator works with the Director of Development and Chief Executive Officer to plan and execute resource development strategies for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming including fundraising events; annual campaigns; grant writing; marketing; and development of key relationships
- Solicitation of gifts
- Assist in donor recognition and inputting information into donor database
- Prepare and present for approval proposals and grants for corporate and foundation support
- Assist department head in fulfilling grant requirements including grant research, reporting, and funder recognition
- Maintain oral and written contact with the Director of Development, staff peers, and volunteers for the purpose of exchange of information, to provide progress reports regarding activities and planned programs, and to coordinate events
- Maintain a collaborative relationship and positive communication with Resource Development Department to support Club activities
- Support CEO with Donor Visits & Management
- Assist in writing thank you’s
- Board and Committee Meetings
- Food and beverage
- Taking & Disseminating Meeting Minutes
- Set-up and Clean-up
- Coordinate & Attend Area Advisory Council Meeting in outlying communities
- Take and Disseminate meeting minutes
- Report on Area Advisory Council Meetings to RD Team
- Support and carry out the mission of the agency
- Be involved with the community at large and appropriate professional organizations
- Follow agency policies, including personnel and programmatic
- Participate in the agency, demonstrate team participation and a work place philosophy that enriches staff’s ability to reach goals and provide a high level of customer service
- Develop professional and personal growth through opportunities and involvement
- Maintain close, daily contact with Supervisor to interpret and explain organizational mission, program objectives and standards, discuss issues, and provide/receive information
- Work with a variety of team members and youth professionals cohesively and respectfully to serve our mission
- Elicit cooperation from peers and coworkers as needed
- Research and analyze corporate and community partnerships, as assigned, and identify opportunities for increased collaboration
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with board of directors
- Develop and maintain close relationships with various constituencies within the community
- Oversee Johnson, Fremont, and Converse County donor stewardship and cultivation while maintaining accurate records in donor database
- Develop and maintain community and corporate partnerships
- At times, will be required to perform additional duties beyond those specified, such as grants and annual fundraising campaign
- Attend training as requested
- Position involves some out-of-town travel
- Assume other duties as assigned
