Job description
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager/Director to join our team in Bay Area, Peninsula area in a key site leadership role, the Precision Manufacturing industry, supporting clients in the Aerospace, Semiconductor/Tech, and Medical Device spaces.

This role is responsible for just about everything, and the right candidate will be experienced/skilled in human resources functions and employee relations, production planning including day to day supervision, and big picture planning/budgeting, IT management including planning and strategic vision on what comes next, and ultimately, this person should and really NEEDS to have some technical background in manufacturing processes utilized in metal parts production, including but not limited to all precision manufacturing/machine shop operations.
As the Operations Manager/Director, your day-to-day responsibilities would include overseeing and managing all aspects of production operations and ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will drive operations and production within a fast-paced environment and ensure efficiency and with Quality being key as we operate with an ISO 9001/AS9100 certified quality management system. You will also be responsible for managing staff, training and development, and budgeting and cost control.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, leading and directing overall plant/manufacturing facility operations and production. Experience at the OPERATIONS MANAGER, PLANT MANAGER, DIRECTOR OF MANUFACTURING/OPERATIONS is experience at the right level.
Senior Leadership/Management experience within an ISO 9001, AS 9100, environment would be ideal, as would previous experience /exposure leadings teams of production/manufacturing/quality, etc. in a CNC/Machine Shop setting that supports Aerospace, and Semiconductor and Medical Device manufacturing. We need a strong leader/strong communicator and a strong MOTIVATOR as you will be managing multiple departments, with different focuses/goals, all with the target of maximum productivity, while maintaining production schedules and required quality standards adherence.
