Job Title: Social Media Copywriter 
Location: Bolingbrook, IL ( Hybrid - Local Candidates )
Duration: 3 months

Hours: Part-time, 15-25 hours per week, Hours 9-5 CST

Brief Job Description: As a Social Media Copywriter, you will work directly with the Editorial Director and senior managers to manage the production and workflow of the editorial and copy team. This role requires a mid-to-senior copywriter with experience in beauty, retail, editorial, agency, or brand settings. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting captions, overlays, and light storyboards for various social media platforms such as Instagram, Instagram Stories, TikTok, and Pinterest. You should possess a deep understanding of beauty, lifestyle, and pop culture, along with proficiency in understanding ROAS, KPIs, and retail and social best practices. You will be writing for both upper and lower funnel strategies and should be adept at conveying brand narratives effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Creative Writing, or Journalism.
• 4+ years of copywriting experience, with a focus on social and digital copywriting preferred.
• Experience in beauty, retail, or lifestyle editorial.
• Deep knowledge of beauty and beauty culture.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint).
• Strong familiarity with project tracking tools such as Monday.com, frame.io, and Miro.
• Flexibility and comfort working in ambiguous and highly matrixed organizations.
• Professionalism and receptivity to feedback and reviews.
