JOB SUMMARY:
The Shipper|Receiver position is responsible for the receipt and shipment of all materials and any other items requiring transit.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receipt of all packages and delivery to appropriate department or person.
- Shipment of Sales Orders to meet the on-time delivery of the production plan,ensuring the critical orders ship on time.
- Daily verification of the shipments to the production plan, understanding what products need to ship in order to meet the company production plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and locate incoming material from trucks.
- Oversee unloading of trucks.
- Properly check in at the time of receiving the goods and supplies
- Compare shipment paperwork and counts, weights, or measurements of incoming shipments to verify against bills of landing, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Package product as received from Final Inspection Department per instructions.
- Prepare all necessary paperwork, including packing lists, appropriate labels etc... and include any special instructions associated with the Job and Work Order Data.
- Perform work in a prioritized order per instructions from the Purchasing Manager or their designated replacement.
- Handle miscellaneous mailing and shipping requests from other company departments.
- Prepare truck shipments as needed.
- Determine appropriate shipping method per instructions on customer sales order and confirm with Program Manager as necessary.
- Package DMR and Non-Conforming materials from Receiving, Purchasing, or Stockroom for return shipment to vendors.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience using online carrier sites (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) to make shipments.
- Experience with documentation required for international shipments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in basic mathematics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP system. Experience using ProfitKey is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
