The Opportunity
The Senior Cloud Applications Consultant role entails engaging in large, complex B2B solutions and critical strategic customer accounts. To succeed, the Applications Consultant must have demonstrated a high level of success in delivering large scale solutions and working closely with clients to build an effective partnership.
You Are Great At
- Conducting requirements gathering workshops with the customer’s business and technical team concisely
- Understand the complex requirements of the customer and follow up with any clarifications needed on the requirements
- Understand the Statement of Work and be able to discuss in scope vs out of scope requirements with internal team and customer
- Documenting requirements in a Business Requirements Document for review by the customer
- Documenting existing and proposed new Business Workflows
- Working with technical leads to document the Functional Requirements Document for review by the customer
- Working with technical leads to understand requirements for integration points
- Creating traceability matrix that traces use case to functional requirements to business requirements
- Writing User Stories in JIRA for the review by the customer and development team
- Working with the project manager to deliver results as per the project plan timelines
- Being a good team player, flexible and adaptable
- Developing and maintaining customer relationships, managing customer objectives and expectations with a high level of drive and confidence
- Identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiencies and cost
- Managing relationships with both internal and external cross functional support teams in the Sales, IT, Operations, Support and Engineering organizations
- Providing solution delivery consultation, working closely to align with customer strategic planning
What it takes:
- Must have very strong interpersonal and communication skills including a demonstrated ability to partner with others, and be able manage complex relationships
- Experience managing delivery using multiple methodologies and disciplines
- Experience in providing solutions using best practices based on the business scenarios
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
- Ability to triage escalations and drive resolution quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of Identity Access Management concepts is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or related field and experience with Six-Sigma Process or similar methodologies
