Job Description
* Data Analyst uses BI Launchpad, Tableau, Smartsheet, Excel, and Vizient on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to pull reports, validate data, and present data. These can be used for monthly/quarterly/annual reporting timeframe, ongoing projects, or on an ad-hoc basis.
* The data analyst will keep scorecards and dashboards up-to-date and assess any issues with formatting or data entry.
* Work with end-users and leadership to define metrics and trends using BI Launchpad, Tableau, and Vizient platforms and maintain ongoing reporting of these metrics.
* Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs).
* Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community.
Qualifications
* 4 year/Bachelor's degree (required)
* Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* Master's degree (preferred
* 4-5 years' Statistical work performed in a health care setting. (Required)
* 4-5 years' Thorough knowledge of current statistical software packages (Required)
* 0 - 1 year Knowledge of TJC standards (Preferred)
* 0 - 1 year Working knowledge of SPSS statistical software (Preferred)
* 4-5 years' Performance Improvement system knowledge such as the principals of TQM/CQI (Preferred)
